Islands of Brijuni
Brijuni National Park is located on the southwest coast of Istria, and consists of fourteen islands with the surrounding sea. The two largest islands are the Veli (Great ) and Mali (Little) Brijun, and other smaller islands are St Marko, Gaz, Okrugljak, Supin, Supinic, Galija, Grunj, Vanga (Krasnica), Pusti (Madonna), Vrsar, St Jerolim and Kozada
The islands and mainland from the islands of St. John to two Sisters, sea and underwater channel of Lim, Park Forest Punta Corrente, swamp Palud, Romualdo''s cave on the south side and canal Lim quarry, "Cave di Monfiorenzo" a geological "natural monument" are especially worthy to visit.
On the relatively small islands, surface slightly larger than 7 squared kilometers there are around hundred sites and objects of archaeological, historical and cultural values from the first Neolithic settlements in the Gulf of Soline, modern fashionable resort and spa from the beginning of 20th century.
